Some thoughts from the artist:

I recently read "happiness contains as much depth as sadness." I have been sad and grieving for so long, and have created some beautiful pieces out of those depths of me. But I want to explore other parts of my depths while creating.

As I begin to come back alive in this time and space, I desperately want to create out of JOY. Don't get me wrong, I am still a highly sensitive person who leads from her heart and emotions 1000% of the time. Some days I am heavy with sadness and fear and grief and heartache and longing and all the emotions that I am all too familiar with as a frequent navigator of the Abyss.

So while I am continuing to find my way back to myself (and at times taking the well-worn and frequently walked paths through the Abyss while creating) what I really want to do, is create from the depths of me, and hope that joy is in those depths as well.
