Some thoughts from the artist:
Since I was young, I have been drawn to the beauty and creativity in the seemingly ordinary, every day things. Some of my favorite things to draw, paint, and photograph all over the world are sewer caps and drinking fountains. Once you take notice of something as commonplace as these, you start to see how different they are. This is beautiful and it inspires me. I feel like I'm always on a treasure hunt, and every one I stumble on that is different, I delight in. Creativity and inspiration can come from the most commonplace spaces. Take the time to go slowly and notice the things around you.
